From time to time I see things being recommended on the internet that make me wonder a little.

As a public service, or at least to have a clear conscience, I will comment on them here.

I don't look for these things - I just address them as they come up. Therefore this page is not comprehensive. There are still a lot of things out there I have not run across yet. I'll deal with them as I see them.

Luma9T-W at Night at Ebbtide

Photos below taken after the Luma9T-W has been in operation for two weeks at the Ebbtide Motel in Pompano Beach, Florida. It has been aimed a little differently so that the waterfall is now illuminated. The order of colors, from top to bottom, is:

blue

cyan

full white

green

half white

magenta

orange

red

yellow

The Luma9T-W has now been illuminating this Koi pond for over 9 months with no reduction in performance, and has been exposed to a very hot South Florida spring with severe thunderstorms. It also happens to be located at the beach, exposed to salt spray every day, a very harsh environment for nearly anything. Its owners report that they continue to enjoy this space much more than before it was illuminated.
